Karen Elizabeth Hill

Karen Elizabeth Hill, 36 of Vinton, formerly of Botetourt County, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 26. She is survived by her precious children, Dakota, 18, Maddie, 16 and Landon 11. She is also survived by her parents, Bill and Betty Hill of Fincastle, sister, Janice Weeks of Louisiana, sister, Debbie Garrett and husband Jim of Fincastle, brother, Michael Hill and wife April of Buchanan, sister, Rebecca Brower and husband Jason of Hardy, and fiancé, Tracy Powers, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Karen was the youngest of five children. She was born during the flood of 1985. She was loved and adored by many. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and love of animals. She never met a stray animal she didn’t like. More than anything, she deeply loved her children. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home at 1 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022. Although there will be no visitation, everyone is invited to the service. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
