Judith "Judie" Letcher Strickland Jordan

Judie Strickland Jordan, of Buchanan was born on Christmas day in 1944. She passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sallie Harlow Strickland and Richard Branson Strickland; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Polly) Strickland; and husband, James Michael Jordan.

She is survived by her children, Annlea Whittaker and Jonathan (Jan) Whittaker; grandchildren, Lindsey (CJ) Mullins and Zachary (Tess) Whittaker; great-grandchildren, Bianca, Carter, and Cora Mullins, Smith, Clairee, Weston, and Sawyer Whittaker.

Judie was a licensed cosmetologist for many years before moving back to Buchanan where she transitioned to barbering. She bought the local barbershop renaming it J Jordan's Barbershop. She loved her job and her customers. She loved all her family, neighbors, and friends throughout her life. She loved the Lord and blessed all who knew her.
