Joseph A. Wright

Joseph A Wright, Jr, 57, of Fincastle, Virginia, lost his battle to cancer at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Junior is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 18 years, son and daughter in law, Alan and Dawn Wright of Eagle Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Andrew Tribbett of Blue Ridge; step-son, Shaun McBrayer of Fincastle; mother, Roxie M. Wright of Fincastle; sister, Priscilla (Nipper) Delp of Salem; one grandson; five granddaughters; niece; extended family and many friends. Junior was a loving husband, father, PawPaw, and friend to all. A special thank you to staff at First Piedmont, Blue Ridge Cancer Care, and Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their support during the final months of Junior's battle. Also, thank you to Carilion Hospice for their continued care and love at home. Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan, Virginia will handle all arrangements. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Junior's honor to Blue Ridge Cancer Care at 2013 S. Jefferson Street, Roanoke, Virginia 24014.
