Johnny Marshall Harper

HARPER Johnny Marshall Johnny Marshall "Boss Hog" Harper, 53, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. He was retired from Robertson-Fowler, Inc and loved to hunt and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Marshall Harper. Survivors include his mother, Virginia Meador Harper; brothers and sisters, James Harper, Patricia Campbell, Burt Harper, and Sonya Harper; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, October 31, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Woody and Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, (540-254-3000).
