John "Tom" Thomas Drewry

John Thomas "Tom" Drewry, 73, of Fincastle, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Aubrey and Evelyn Drewry, his son, Jimmy Drewry, and his beloved pet, Duncan. Tom was an avid outdoorsman, who loved traveling and spending time with his grandkids. He enjoyed working on and admiring hot rod cars to the classics. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 23 years, Judy Hepler Drewry; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Christy Drewry of Fincastle; step-mother, Pearl Drewry of Roanoke; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Honey Hepler of Buchanan; Kevin and Crystal Hepler of Fincastle; grandchildren, Dustin and Ben Drewry, Kari and Brandon Gilbert, Derek, Ryan, Racheal, and Kyle Hepler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Liz Drewry of AL; Victor and Anita Drewry of Weyers Cave; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Tommy Steele, Linda and Mike Lundy, Deborah and Kenny Cox all of Roanoke; and beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10 am, Thursday, March 29, 2012 in the Fincastle Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Cummings officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fincastle Baptist Church, PO Box 707, Fincastle, VA 24090 or the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, March 28, 2012 the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
