John Richard Huffman

John "206" Richard Huffman, 37, of Troutville, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Arnold Huffman. John was an avid outdoorsman and dedicated coach to his boys' sports teams. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Theresa Huffman; sons, John, Jr. "JJ" and James Huffman; mother, Francis Huffman; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Barbara Huffman of New Castle; nieces, Autumn and Summer Huffman; special cousin, Scott Huffman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, fellow fire members, and friends. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Troutville Cemetery. Those wishing to make a contribution, a college fund will be set up for the boys at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Monday, March 11, 2013 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan 540-254-3000.
