John L. Dillon

John L. "JL" Dillon, Jr., 82, of Eagle Rock, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, John L., Sr. and Joanna Vanness Dillon; brother, Tommy Dillon; and sister, Betty Giordano. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Audine McClung Dillon; daughter, Amy Dillon Warnock of Wirtz; grandsons, Zachary Warnock and Luke Warnock; sister, Peggy Knick of Clifton Forge; sister-in-law, Alice Dillon; and special friend, Charles "Butch" Curtain. John was an avid John Deere tractor collector and loved to target and skeet shoot.The family would like to thank thed staffs of Carrington Place of Botetourt and GentleShepherd Hospice for all of their loving care and compassion for "JL". Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert McRae officiating.
