Jimmie Adam Tingler, 77, of Salem formerly of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Tingler; parents, Chester and Margie Tingler; and sister, Shirley Richmond. Survivors include his children and spouses, Chester and Cheryl Tingler; Darlene and Wes Riffe; Lisa Tingler; Debra; Pam and Dale; Ricky and Donna; Timmy and Renee; Cindy and William; Lyndia and Barry; siblings; Thelma (Leon) Richmond; Geneva (Bob) Hizer; Roy (Mae) Tingler; brother-in-law, Herbert Richmond; grandchildren, Jennifer and Adam Tingler; Billy and Justin Smith; Amanda Riffe; Casandra and Camille Ware; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his furry companion, Tido; and special friend, Robert Anderson. Special thanks to Carilion Hospice staff especially Amy Carper and Tiffany for their loving care. Funeral services will held 11am Friday, July 15, 2016 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Ronk officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
