Jesse "Tippy" Clarence Goodwin

Jesse "Tippy" Clarence Goodwin, 82 of Buchanan passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mamie Goodwin; half-brother, Melvin "Buck" Goolsby; brother, William "Bill" Goodwin; sisters, Mildred Stoner and Annie "Sissy" Goodwin. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Patricia "Patsy" Goodwin; daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Wayne Alexander of Blue Ridge and Karen Goodwin of Buchanan; grandchildren, Michael Alexander and Ashley Mundy. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Rick Troutt officiating. Interment will follow in Lithia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive the friends from 3-5pm, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan 540-254-3000.
