Jerry Alan Deel

Jerry Alan Deel, 78, of Fincastle, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Stella Deel; siblings and spouses, Jim and Betty Deel, Larry “Kent” and Vi Deel, Marlene Smith, Joe Deel, Jr., Dot and Red Ward, and brother-in-law, Jim Hall. He was the owner/operator of Peaceful Valley Fencing for over 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynda Deel; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Andrea Deel; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Phillip Thompson; grandchildren, Rachel and Sam Deel, and Rebecca Thompson; sister, Doris Hall; brother and sisters-in-law, Ray and Joan Deel, Joyce Deel; former sister-in-law, Linda Clifton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
