Jeffrey Gordon Bobbitt

Jeffrey Gordon Bobbitt, 47, of Eagle Rock, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary Charles Bobbitt and brother, Colon John Bobbitt. Jeff was a devoted father and survivors include his wife of 15 years, Mary Elizabeth Bobbitt; sons, Corey Austin Bobbitt of Richmond and Nathan Thomas Bobbitt of Eagle Rock; daughter, Emma Noel Bobbitt of Eagle Rock; parents, John and Marlene Bobbitt of Maryville, TN; and sisters, Mary Ellen Wolney of IL and Tammy Lynn Bobbitt of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Eagle Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ronk officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Special thanks to Botetourt County Sheriffs Dept., State Police, Special Units, and many friends.
