Jeffrey Adam Newcomb

Jeffrey Adam Newcomb, 61, of Buchanan, passed away on November 25th, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Newcomb, mother, Edna Cox Hylton; brothers, Roger Newcomb, Calvin Newcomb, and Virgil Newcomb.

He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Newcomb; sisters, Violet Cales, Kaye Allen, Tina Brown, Lisa Campbell, and Sandy Stevens; brothers, Richard "Yogi" Newcomb and Gerald Newcomb, and many cousins, including Allen Harris.

Jeff was well known, well liked, and by many, well loved. He was tough, which earned him the nickname "Gristle." He was intelligent, thoughtful, and a mountain man who loved hunting, fishing, swimming and floating the river.

Jeff lived life unapologetically and was definitely a Newcomb. Always a good friend, he will be fondly remembered by many.
