James Vernon Moseley

James Vernon Moseley, 87, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera S. Moseley; parents, William and Bertha Moseley; brothers, Roy, Allen, and Bernice Moseley; and sister, Mildred Moseley Welch. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Larry Linkenhoker of Buchanan; Doris and Bill Toppel of Salem; Jane and Steve Mitchell of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren; Jerry Layman, Pamela Duff, Misty Englehart, and Cameron Linkenhoker; and three great-children; brothers, Buford and Eugene Moseley both of Buchanan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Staff and Nurses of Carrington Place and Good Samaritan Hospice for their love and care. Funeral Services will be held 11am Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Chaplain Marvin W. Barbre of Good Samaritan Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
