James Ray Newcomb

James Ray Newcomb, 53, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. He had retired from Bedford Well Drilling. Survivors include his wife, Linda Hardbarger Newcomb; son, Steven Drew Newcomb; parents, James Robert "Pete" and Rosalie Watkins Newcomb; sisters and brothers, Betty Jean Newcomb, Angela Marie Newcomb, Deborah Sue Newcomb, all of Buchanan, Kenneth Wayne Newcomb of Roanoke, Richard Allen and Missy Newcomb of Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecie Haxton officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery.
