James Michael Jordan

James “MJ” Michael Jordan, 78, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vera Jordan; his brothers, Rev. Don Jordan, Alvis Jordan, and sister, Kay Robinson. Mike was an Air Force Veteran, member of Buchanan Baptist Church, and retired from being a Sales Manager at Haley Toyota with numerous years of service. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judie Jordan; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Edgar Hartle, Jennifer and Jonathan Mann; step-children, Johnny (Jan) Whittaker, Annlea Whittaker; Mike and Judie had 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren between them. Also surviving are his brother, Bob Jordan; sister, Nancy Truluck; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Rodney and Cindy Carden; and his Buchanan Moose family. Visitation will be held from 3-4pm with funeral services at 4pm with Military and Moose Honors on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev.
