James "Leroy" Boyd, Sr.

James Leroy Boyd Sr., 67 of Iron Gate, VA passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hollie Boyd Sr and Sadie Alvis Harlow Boyd; grandparents, John Riley Boyd, Della Boyd Poague, William (Bill) Poague, Charles T Harlow and Pearl May Harlow. Also preceding him in death, a brother George Boyd, a son James Leroy Boyd Jr (Jamie) and Christy Newcomb Boyd.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Paradise Boyd; one sister, Brenda Boyd Childs (Donald) of Clifton Forge; brothers, William H Boyd Jr (Kathy) of Troutville; David Boyd of Clifton Forge; Harrison Boyd (Carolyn) of Buchanan; a son David Morrison, daughters, Lexi Boyd and Melissa Fisher; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
