James "Jimmy" Mowles

James "Jimmy" Edward Mowles, 58, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mowles. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. and the Buchanan Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Jacks; mother, Anne S. Mowles of Buchanan; sons and daughters-in-law, Seth and Lyn Mowles of Buchanan; Eric and Brittany Mowles of the United Kingdom; grandson, Carson James Mowles; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Johnny Johnson; Nancy and Vic Ingraham; Jonna and David Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Darlene Mowles; Kenneth and Debbie Mowles; Brian Mowles; Samuel Mowles; step-daughter, Kaye Woods of Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Stanley Fringer officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, October 22, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, (540-254-3000).
