James "Jim" Allen Fowler

James "Jim" Allen Fowler, 85, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia "Judy" Fowler, parents, Moffett and Edith Fowler; and infant son, Steve Mason Fowler. He is survived by his wife, Roena Fowler; sons and daughter-in-law, Walt and Kathy Fowler; Mark Fowler and special friend, Tracy Booth; daughter, Sarah Fowler and special friend, Bryan Dunbar; step-children, Mac Kingery, David Kingery, and Cheryl Wymer; brothers, Tom and Brenda Fowler, Charles "Bud" and Peggy Fowler, and John Fowler; sisters, Marie and Charles Alford, Barbara and Richard Sarver, and Martha and Paul Monaghan; grandchildren, Ryan Fowler, Aaron (Elizabeth) Fowler, Brandon (Cecil) Bowman, Christine Tynan, Ryan Cox, Erika Hurt, Madison Dunbar, and Christopher Dunbar; step-grandchildren, Ryan and Mason Kingery, Ashley Smith, and Myressa Kingery; great-grandchildren, Sylvia and Troy Fowler; step-great-grandson, Brantley Smith. Funeral Services will be held 11am Monday, August 27, 2018 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Tabor officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5pm Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
