James Arthur Mundy

James Arthur "Jim Bigfoot" Mundy, 56, of Vinton, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Catherine Burkes Castle and James P. "Skipper" Mundy; infant brother, James Mundy; step-son, Michael Page; and granddaughter, Billie Jo Sifford. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his daughter, Dani Mundy of Roanoke; step-son, Stanley Page; step-mother, Sue Mundy; brother, Brian Mundy of Guyton, Ga, DeWayne Mundy of Buchanan; sisters, Connie Billa of Missouri, Deb Sifford and Teresa Berry of Buchanan; soul-mate of 25 years, Ann Walters; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 17, 2015 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
