Helen Terry Paxton

Helen Terry Paxton, 90, of Buchanan, has gone on to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Mrs. Paxton was a member of the Buchanan Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Paxton; parents, Mason and Sally Goodwin Terry; brothers, Lewis Terry and Harry Terry; and sister, Ella Lipes. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Rita Paxton of Buchanan; grandson, Mickey Paxton of Buchanan; sister, Evelyn Smith of Charlotte, NC; brother and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Nancy Terry of Atlanta, Ga. and Audrey Terry of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, December 7, 2012 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Marina Gopadze and Pastor Randy L. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. The family will receive friends Thursday (Dec 6) from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan. 540-254-3000.
