Helen Kibler Anderson

Helen Kibler Anderson, 82, of Eagle Rock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. We truly miss her presence, but know that she is at peace and walking on streets of gold. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Samuel "Shorty" Anderson; parents, Arland and Gladys Kibler; sister, Janet Campbell; and her beloved cats, Pretty Boy and Chessie. She is survived by her children, Ronnie Anderson and wife, Liz; Craig Anderson and wife, Reena all of Eagle Rock; and Susette Thomson & husband, Dave of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Wade and Ryan Anderson, Mark Connor, Sam, Jonathan and Daniel Anderson, Candice Moore, and Holly Mills; great-grandchildren, Madelaine and Carter Anderson, Britney Dawson, and Ian and Owen Anderson; brother, Lewis Kibler and wife, Ruthie; sister, Betty Crutchfield and husband, Dale; special cousin, Patsy Griffin, special friend, Marie Agnor; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would also like to thank the numerous friends, family, and church members that visited her at Friendship Manor during her stay. They made her day! The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Botetourt Funeral Home in Eagle Rock. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Eagle Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ronk and Rev. Wesley Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
