Harry "Bunky" Lee Kidd

Harry Lee “Bunky” Kidd, 89, of Buchanan passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Jean Butler Kidd; parents, Harry Kidd and Virgie Kidd Hambrick; sister, Betty Kidd Flora; and half-sister, Gladys Painter.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angelia and James Gardiner; son, Tony Kidd; grandson, Preston (Samantha) Kidd; three great-grandchildren; half-brothers, Leslie (Faye) Hambrick; Carl (Debora) Hambrick; half-sisters, Virginia (Carson) Scaggs and Edith Parson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with services at 12pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
