Harriet Ann Sellers Wright

Harriet Ann Sellers Wright, 79, of Eagle Rock, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Wright; parents, Walter and Clara Holland Sellers; brothers, William "Bill" and Richard "Dicky" Sellers. Harriet retired from State Farm Insurance with over 40 years of service and was the first lady claims adjuster in the state. She was an avid gardener, photographer, and enjoyed flowers and birds. She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Walter "Pete" and Rosanna Sellers; Mildred Sellers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm with funeral services at 2pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date beside her husband at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
