Harold Monroe Boothe

Harold Monroe Boothe, 90 of Buchanan, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mattie Boothe; wife and mother of his children, Irene "Rennie" Boothe; brothers, Lawrence, Walter, Billy, Joel, and Carl; sisters, Clara, Kathleen, Doris, and Sarah; and step-daughters, Debbie and Carol. He is survived by his wife of almost 7 years, Jean Mull Boothe; daughters, Donna Nichols; Brenda (John) Huffman; sons, Terry (Donna Lyn) Boothe; Billy Joe (Donna Kim) Boothe; step-daughter, Barbara (James) Mullins; sister, Betty Koger; brother, James Boothe; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Elmer Clemons and Mr. Mark Mullins officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
