Gerald Glenn Hannah

Gerald Glenn Hannah, 65, of Eagle Rock, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Keith and Lillian Gladys Thompson Hannah, and his infant son, Kevin Andrew Hannah. Jerry was a member of the Buchanan Presbyterian Church, retired as a Control Room Operator with Dominion Power at Bremo, VA with over 28 years of service, and a avid hunter and fisherman with the callsign "Raven". He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Clay Hubble Hannah; daughter and son-in-law, Katie H. and Jim Toth of Richmond; grandson, James Paul Toth; sister, Ann H. Layman of Buchanan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwight and Jewel Hannah of Clifton Forge, Samuel and Rosemary Hannah of Eagle Rock; several aunts, nieces, nephews, adopted family members. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Marina Gopadze officiating. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle Rock Rescue Squad, P O Box 234, Eagle Rock, Va 24085 or the charity of your choice.
