Geneva Nadine Painter

Geneva Nadine Painter, 77, of Lynchburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Whorley; brother, Acie; sister, Nancy; and special friend, Ruddell Campbell. Geneva was a faithful member of Arnold's Valley Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Lois G. (David) Taylor of Goodview, Donna J. Dubberly of Lynchburg, and Carolyn P. (Stephen) Breeden of Natural Bridge Station; grandchildren, Dana, Michelle, Robert, Jonathan, and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Haley, Alora, Dacota, Caleb Mackina, Marissa, and Madison; brothers, Leonard and Carson; sisters, Jane, Vera, Joyce, and Christine. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Stine officiating. Interment will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arnold's Valley Southern Baptist Church, 57 Baptist Church Road, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579.
