Gene Allen Moseley

Gene Allen Moseley, Sr., 69, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. Gene had retired from James River Limestone after 37 years of service. He was also a member of the Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department and Buchanan Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Allen and Lucille Virginia Gray Moseley; first wife, Clara Rickman Moseley; brothers, William Larry Moseley, and James "Jimmy" Moseley; and sister, Joyce Ann Moseley. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Dianne Lawhorn Moseley; children, William "Bill" and Debbie Moseley of Huttonsville, WV, John and Karen Moseley of Buchanan, Elizabeth and Steven Crawford of Roanoke, Gene Jr. and Krista Moseley of Buchanan, and Crystal and Bret Bolton of Roanoke; sister, Gloria (Lloyd) Walker of Buchanan; sisters-in-law, Judy M. Beveridge, Barbara Moseley, and Tina Clark; brother-in-law, Steve (Sue) Lawhorn; grandchildren, Santana (Bediako) Swan, Megan (Aaron Simmons) Park, Katherine Marie (Cameron Blanton) Moseley, Kaitlynne Sue Moseley, Cindy, Diana, and Jessica Crawford; Casey, Tabitha, and Grayson Moseley, Macy Ware, and Danikka Seamons; great-grandchildren, Allie Simmons and Kevin Blanton; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and beloved pet companion, Sonny. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Sunday, September 13, 2015 in New Beginnings Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jerome Coleman and Rev. Mike Woody officiating.
