Frederick “Freddie” Allen Goodbar, 69, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bessie Goodbar, and brother, Ralph Eugene Goodbar.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Amanda Goodbar; daughters, Amber Goodbar and Aubrey Goodbar; grandchildren, Mackenzie Goodbar, Kendall Painter, and Braylon Painter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Marilyn Goodbar, Jerry and Christine Goodbar; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Maynard Nuchols; mother-in-law, Brenda Dudley; one niece and numerous nephews; and pet companion, Charlie.
