Frank Erskine Jones

Frank Erskine Jones, 80, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Ingledew Jones; parents, Tracey Miller Jones and Mary Alice Woods Jones. Frank was a US Army Veteran serving from 1959 to 1965. He was a diesel mechanic and had worked for several companies. Survivors include his daughter, Sandra J Stubbs of Blue Ridge; son, Eric Jones of Bedford; grandchildren, Dean Stubbs and Ally Jones; brother, John Jones of Roanoke. The family would like to thank the Staff of Carrington Place of Botetourt Commons for all of their care and love shown Frank and Lucille during their stay there. Frank's funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Hwy, Buchanan, VA with the Rev. Morris Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke with military honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
