Frances Jones Grogan

Frances Jones Grogan, 81, of Roanoke, formerly of Buchanan, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Grogan; daughters, Frances Smothers and Mary Williams; son, Robert Grogan; grandsons, Roland Franklin and David Merchant. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Saunders of Salem; sons, Ed Grogan Jr., of Newport News; Charles Grogan of Roanoke; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and Leo Bannister, Bobbie and Charles King, Faye and James Majors; and brother, Walter Jones, Jr. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Indian Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, March 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
