Frances Elizabeth Mccready Zell

Frances Elizabeth McCready Zell, 100, of Eagle Rock, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Zell, Jr.; infant son, Horis Marion Zell; son, James William Zell; daughter, Peggy Zell Cahoon; grandson, Marty Calvert; granddaughter, Connie Mundy; and sisters and brothers. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jancie Cregger, Violet and Don Helms, Nancy and Gerald Calvert, Linda Green, Shelby and Harold Cook, Sally and Cecil Slusser; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a dear friend who was like a daughter, Barbara Wrenn. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in the Forest Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry A. Marsh officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home (884-2276).
