Esther Edna Kelly Orange

Esther Edna Kelly Orange, 81, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Robert and Verbie Hawkins Austin; husbands, James Rudolph Kelly, Sr. and Davis Orange; son, James Rudolph "Butch" Kelly, Jr.; brothers, Alvin, Harry, Henry, Albert, and Robert Austin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Claude Hancock; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Linda Kelly all of Buchanan; grandchildren, Ashley Kelly, Mariah Kelly, Hailey Hancock, Scott Kelly; great-grandchildren, Raven Carden, Phoenix O'Neil, Jaylen Clay, Trevor Noell, Tanner Noell; sisters, Elsie Powell Flint of Glasgow; Martha Austin Edwards of Roanoke; Roberta Austin Wilson of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Isaac "Ike" Watts Austin of Buena Vista; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mary Tynan Kelly. The family would like to thank the 1 West Nursing Staff of Friendship Manor for their loving care. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Sunday, January 9, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Marla Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, 540-254-3000.
