Eric Hall

Eric Hall, 41, of Buchanan, watched his last sunrise on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Born on June 5, 1978, he travelled and lived in many places meeting many friends along the way. Work brought him to Buchanan where he settled and was co-owner and operator of Mountain View Home Improvements. God blessed him with the talent of carpenter's hands and with those hands he was able to make folks dreams come true. Whether old or new construction, Eric had the ability to create beautiful and long lasting creations. He loved and enjoyed all of God's beauty from mountains to oceans. He was like an animal "whisperer" where any animal wild or tame was beyond comfortable with him. He was an avid kayaker and made many a floats down countless rivers. Eric enjoyed life but life wasn't always easy for him. He had many laughs and good times but along with those came sad times as well. All those that knew the real Eric, please always remember those good times. The bad times aren't important now and what we can hold on to is he is at peace and no longer battling his own demons. Those left to cherish the memory of the Eric they knew and loved are his children, Tyler and Ashley; sister, Delinda; nephew, John; niece, Faith; former spouse and business partner, Karen; and his beloved beagle "daddy's girl" Allie; and many other friends and family to many to name. It was his wish to be cremated and his ashes scattered so he will always be floating the river he loved so dear.
