Elizabeth "Liz" Linkenhoker Peery

Elizabeth "Liz" Linkenhoker Peery, 86, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born March 25, 1932 to the late Robert and Lucy Linkenhoker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Will" Lewis Peery; sisters, Mary Mae Linkenhoker, Viola Austin and Lillian Peery; brothers, Charles Linkenhoker, Bill Linkenhoker, Taylor Linkenhoker, James Linkenhoker, and Robert Linkenhoker, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Ann Linkenhoker and Violet Linkenhoker; brothers-in-law, Claude Austin and Don Peery. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Charles Holliday; Vickie Cline Hensley and Jay Hensley; Margaret and Ray Grubbs, Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Karen Peery; William and Laurel Peery; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law, Howard and Martha Linkenhoker; Bonnie Linkenhoker; Betty Linkenhoker; and Eunice Linkenhoker; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Buddy Rodgers. Special thanks to her caretakers, Pam Welch, Josie Spangler, Rose Hensley, Dawn Morgan, and Taylor Peery. Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Springwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
