Elizabeth Booze Fuller of Fincastle passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014. Born in Fincastle, she was one of six children of the late Frank H. and Martha Haymaker Booze. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank H. Booze II and B. Ralph Booze, and three sisters, Agnes B. Switzer, Mabel B. Hickok, and Eloise B. Chamblin. She was married for 63 years to the late James A. Fuller, Jr. She graduated from Fincastle High School where she was a star basketball player. Having completed teachers training at Madison College, she had numerous teaching assignments in Botetourt County. She was a member of the Eagle Rock Garden Club, Botetourt County Extension Homemakers, Botetourt chapter #135 Order of the Eastern Star, Botetourt Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the League of Older Americans. She was a charter member of the local United Daughters of the Confederacy as well as a founding member of the women's auxiliary of the Eagle Rock Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of the Arcadia Baptist Church. Survivors include the following: daughter Brenda K. Fuller, daughter and son-in-law, Martha F. and Richard Chew; granddaughter Lisa Chew, granddaughter and husband, Laura and Joseph Sollinger, sister-in-law, Elizabeth F. Dudding, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, and her cat Streak. The graveside service in Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle, will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jerry A. Marsh officiating. The family requests no flowers; in lieu of flowers, individuals may make donations to their favorite charity in Elizabeth's memory. There will be no visitation
