Eldry Lloyd Teaford

Eldry Lloyd "Tink" Teaford, 74, of Eagle Rock, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012. Tink had a great love for music and was the founding member of Lloyd's Pride, a country and bluegrass band. He was a welder by trade and could practically make anything, also loved woodworking; and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nellie Dollman Teaford; his wife of 44 years who died in 2005, Sammie Jo Bosserman Teaford; brothers, Homer Niday and Harold Teaford; and sister, Nancy Honts. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse A. and Carol A. Teaford, Earl T. and Brenda Kay Teaford, all of Eagle Rock; grandchildren, Samantha Harris, Melinda and Jeremy Bursey, and Chad Teaford; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Johnathan, and Shaylynn Bursey, and Savannah Teaford; brothers and sisters-in-law, James H. and Betty Teaford of Eagle Rock, Lama L. and Frances Teaford of Eagle Rock; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally Joanne and Truman Austin of Covington, Dean T. and George Jenkins of Clifton Forge; and special friends, Roberta Petty, Paul Petty, Joyce Quesenberry, Connie Skibinski, Barbara and Smiley Dudley. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Forest Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry A. Marsh officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, 3/12/2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
