Elaine Wright Welch

Elaine Wright Welch, 63, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Celia Wright; and sister, Joan "Joannie" Taylor. She is survived by her son, Shawn Welch; her soulmate, Hugh "Jackie" McMillan, Jr.; sisters, Helen McCullough and Connie Bittner; brothers, James "Jimmy" (Janet) Wright and Robert Wright; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and aunt, Sophie Stelmashuk. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Friday, December 22, 2017 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan 540-254-3000.
