Edgar "Bo" Douglas Brannan

Edgar "Bo" Douglas Brannan, 76, of Troutville, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013. He was a truck driver for Kroger for almost 20 years and a member of the Teamsters Local 171. He was preceded in death by his wife, FayAnn Robertson Brannan; parents, David and Ruth Brannan; and brother, Buck Brannan. He is survived by children and spouses, Deborah Brannan, John and JoAnne Brannan, James and Sandra Brannan, Gary and Laurie Brannan, Scott Brannan, Cheryl and Steve Brown, Lori and John Steiner, Sharon Patten-Barfield, and Eva and Robert Paxton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Leon Brannan; sisters, Rachel Sprinkle, Elouise Gray, Bertha Peters, and Joyce Grubb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. 540-254-3000
