Earl Edward Crawford

Earl Edward Crawford, 70, of Glen Wilton, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. Mr. Crawford was retired from CSX as a Engineer, and loved guitar playing, gardening, and tinkering with small engines and anything mechanical. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Jackson Crawford and Vergie Dudley Crawford, and an infant sister, Linda Crawford. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Carol Ball Crawford; sons and daughter-in-law, Erik Edward Crawford and Alan Craig and Danielle Crawford of Glen Wilton; sisters, Shirley Manspile of Clifton Forge and Barbara Jean Gray of Montvale; brother, Alfred Crawford of Buchanan; grandchildren, Xavier, Carleigh, and Mallory. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Iron Gate United Methodist Church with Chris Fisher and Rev. Joe Rose officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Regional Hospice or Iron Gate United Methodist Church.
