Dorothy Robinson Howe

Dorothy Robinson Howe, 79, of Buchanan passed away Friday, July 2, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Howe; parents, Leonard and Florence Patrick Robinson; son, Emmett Howe; and six brothers and sisters. She was a faithful member of the Rotary Club and a volunteer at the Red Cross and Food Pantry. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Katherine Jones of Buchanan; Michele and Fred Brown of Roanoke; grandchildren, Andrea Easterly, Alicia Brown, Jessica Howe; great-grandchildren, Hailey Easterly, Hannah Vaughns; and sisters, Maynelle Nowlin of Waynesboro; Florence Potts of New York; and brother-in-law, George Howe of Philadelphia. Funeral Services will be held in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home at 1pm, Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Interment will follow in Mtn. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home (254-3000).
