Dorothy Elizabeth Craft

Dorothy Cahoon Craft, 85 of Fincastle passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 27, 2017. Dorothy was born July 23, 1932 to the Earl and Annie Cahoon of Fincastle, Virginia. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayden Craft; her sisters, Shirley Cahoon. Clara "Nip" Conner, and her brother, Malcolm "Mac" Cahoon. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte McClung and her brother, Lloyd Cahoon. Dorothy is also survived by her daughters, Linda Craft, Rebecca Roach, Joyce Cahoon, Tammy Naff, Lisa Entsminger, Tina Linkenhoker, and their respective spouses. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who knew her as "MeMaw". Dorothy had many friends that affectionately called her "Dot". "Dorothy loved spending time with her family and everyone who got to meet Dorothy could not help but love her. Heaven has met another angel. Dorothy, you are now in the Lord's gentle arms and surrounded by the spirit of Christ, May you rest in everlasting Peace" Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens-Roanoke. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
