Dorothy Camper Breeden

Dorothy Camper Breeden, 89, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weldon Breeden; parents, Carl McKinley and Lula Mariah Booze Camper; brothers, Warren, Henry, Donald, Berkeley, and Charles "PeeWee" Camper; sisters, Louise Martin, Annie Buky, and Grace Brannan. She is survived by her children and spouses, Melody and Ted Purser of Port St. Lucie, FL; Donna and Jerry Gill of Round Rock, TX; Gerald Breeden of Arcadia; Alice Breeden of Durham, NC; Ben and Liz Breeden of Advance, NC; grandchildren, Darrell and David Breeden, Christopher and Matthew Breeden, Thomas (Whitney) Assaid, Sara (David) McCradden, Shellie (Damon) Withrow; great-grandchildren, Hannah Breeden, Lila Grace Withrow, Preston Withrow, Taylor Assaid, and Steven Assaid, and Baby McCradden on the way; sisters and brothers, Laura Compton, Frances Mundy, Larry and Helen Camper all of Lakeland, FL; Mary Houser of Fairfield, Lawrence and Ruth Camper, Joe Camper, all of Buchanan; Paul "Doodle" Camper of Roanoke; brother-in-law, Leon Brannan; sister-in-law, Margaret Camper and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1pm October 22, 2014 in the Arcadia Baptist Church with the Rev. Wessley Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8pm Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
