Denvel “Denny” Thayer Eastman, 81, of Buchanan passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Egbert and Ruby Eastman; brothers, Dwight and Garland Eastman; and sister, Bernice Hollenbeck.

He retired from Carter Machinery with over 40 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Eastman; children and spouses, Robin Eastman Geisler and Joseph, Daniel Eastman and Lori, Tammy Thompson and David, and Stephen Eastman and Vicki; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with 4 in the oven; sisters, Judy (Wilkie) Wilkins and Andrea Preast; special friends, Kenny Meador and David Hylton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 10 am Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Milton Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
