Dennis Coleman Burrell

Dennis Coleman Burrell "Grip", 55, of Fincastle, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was born in Buchanan, VA, March 3, 1961. He was the son of Irene and Sam Burrell; Leo Bannister (step-father). He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Burrell, grandparents, George A. and Mary Ruth Burrell, and nephew, Anthony Burrell. He was employed by Thor Inc. for 5 years and he had many other construction jobs prior to that. Dennis received and accepted Christ at an early age. He knew the Lord. He loved helping people and was never in the midst of confusion. Dennis always loved his family and all people. He is survived by his wife, Estelle Kyle Burrell for 30 years of loving togetherness; daughters, Alicia Campbell and Jessica Kyle; son, AJ Kyle; granddaughter, Letitia Lang; grandson, Devin Ward; mother, Irene Bannister; sisters, Debbie Jones; DaRhonda Taylor; and Dawn Benn; brothers, Darryl Burrell; DeWayne Burrell; and Dion Burrell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and many special friends. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Saturday, May 14, 2016 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with visitation from 11am to noon before the service.
