Dennis Alexander Millard

Dennis Alexander Millard, 44, of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011. Dennis was a master of all trades, he was very mechanically inclined with the talent of putting together "junk" and making it run, he enjoyed automobile racing, animals, gardening and flowers and making things grow, and living life to the fullest extent, and helping others in need. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Lawrence and Mary Louise Millard and Alex and Phyllis Edick Lyndaker. Survivors include his parents, Gerald "Jerry" and Charlotte Lyndaker Millard of Lowville, NY; brothers and sister, Steven Millard of Goveneur, NY, Tracy (Eric) Jensen of Liverpool, NY, Dean (Amy) Millard of Glenfield, NY, George (Shannon) Millard of Troutville, Va.; niece, Alicia (Andy) Hewitt; great-nephew, Dylan Hewitt; great-niece, Addie Grace Hewitt; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan with a memorial services to follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eugene Mills officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the college fund of his great-niece and great-nephew, in care of their mother, Alicia Hewitt, 4320 Candlelight Lane, Liverpool, NY 13090
