Deborah Marie Draper

Deborah Marie Draper, 55, of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was born to the late Raymond W. Rynes Sr. and Louise Hertless Rynes June 9, 1958. in Richmond. She is survived by her husband, best friend and soul mate, Lee Draper Jr.; daughter, Missy Draper; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Rebekah Draper; two grandchildren, Michael and Deanna Draper; three brothers, Raymond Jr. (Chipper), Marvin, and Chris Rynes; two sisters, Zita Draper and Terry Shipp; along with many nieces and nephews. Debbie, as she was known to most, lived most of her life in Fincastle and Buchanan. She spent most of her time with her family enjoying the outdoors and her mountain. She also greatly loved her cats. She spent several years working as a teacher's aide in Botetourt County and also enjoyed working as a taxidermist alongside her husband. The most rewarding job she held and excelled at most of all was that of a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her world and she was the world to her family. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a small potable plant to be placed in her flower garden or a simple charitable donation on her behalf.
