David Tyrone Johnson

David Tyrone “Horn” Johnson, 49, of Roanoke formerly of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garrett and Daisy Johnson Washington, Walter and Melva Washington. He was a 1992 graduate of James River High School.

He is survived by his children, Marcus and Jordan Johnson; grandson, Wyatt and one on the way; parents, Elizabeth Knewasser and John Washington; brother, Kenny Johnson; sister, Daisy Johnson Lopez; special aunt and uncle, Deborah and Emmit Jones; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1-2pm with services at 2pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Elder Randall Jackson officiating.
