David Baldwin Layne

David Baldwin Layne, 73, of Buchanan passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleophus and Sadie Layne and step-daughter, Carol Lynn Richards. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rita Layne; daughters, Lisa Crawley and Crystal Layne; grandchildren, Christopher, Alexis, Steven, and Adriana, numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Carper; brother-in-law, Roy Milliron; sisters-in-law, Belinda Sink and Marilyn Holley; many other relatives and friends, including, Jim Washam and Peggy Layne; and his beloved cats, Milo, Midnight, and BlackJack. Memorial Services will be held 7pm Thursday, June 29, 2017 with visitation one hour before at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 540-254-3000.
