David A. Stevens

David Allen Stevens, 66 of Fincastle passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Doris Stevens; and sister, Susan Myers. He was a dedicated farmer all of his life, loving the land on which he worked. He was a true country gentleman, not meeting a stranger, and loving all animals. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Evelyn Smith Stevens; step-son, Mark Tyree; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Steve Robeson; brother-in-law, Harold Myers; sister-in-law, Karen Thomas; nephew, Marshall Myers and wife, Kristie, nieces, Susanne Myers and Stephanie DeHart; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla and Konner Myers; Bryce, Blake, and Madison Myers; and Madeline DeHart; his precious dog, Baby; and many other loving family members. Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. 540-254-3000.
