Daryl Eugene Reed

Daryl Eugene Reed, 65, of Buchanan, VA, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russel Merritt Reed.

Surviving is his mother, Mary Sue Johnston Reed; children, Jason Reed, Joshua Reed, and Megan Reed; grandchildren, Hailey Reed, Xavier Reed, Jacklyn Dooley; siblings, Cathy Reed Erath, Karen (Chris) Reed Newbill, Doug Reed, and Darren (Marissa) Reed; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Daryl was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1977 to 1981. He was an avid nature lover, spending most of his time outdoors. Daryl enjoyed photography, planting flowers, and could grow anything. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and Pink Floyd.
